45 year-old female patient was referred to board certified plastic surgeon for breast reconstruction. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and was looking to undergo bilateral mastectomy wanted to have bilateral reconstruction and right nipple reconstruction at the same time. Patient had prior great implants that were placed under the muscle. After going over the risks, benefits and possible complications, patient wished to proceed with procedures. She underwent right nipple reconstruction with bilateral breast reconstruction with medium height tissue expanders. About 3 months later patient had the second stage procedure where expanders were exchanged for moderate profile plus gel implants 500cc. Nipple work was not done at this time. Patient loves the way she looks and path has all been negative.
