One of the rising stars in the breast augmentation world is cohesive gel implants. These are form-stable implants made of silicone that offer several benefits, including a more natural-looking shape and feel.
An FDA study of the innovative devices known as cohesive gel implants showed the success of the product. Those who have had previous breast implants say that “they can’t feel the high-strength gel implants underneath the skin, but that they could always feel saline implants. In addition, there is no sloshing sound, which can occur with liquid implants.”
Breast augmentation is still one of the most common types of elective plastic surgeries, so it speaks volumes that cohesive gel implants are taking up a growing piece of that market.
