08 Nov Botox Injections and Tanning
Tanning beds have been notoriously linked to skin damage over the years. However, this does not make sunbathing any more dangerous with Botox injections, unless you are tanning immediately afterwards.
We recommend not lying down for four hours after Botox injections so as to decrease the risk of the product traveling to areas it should not go. Dilation of blood vessels from the excess heat can also cause this premature migration.
The reason wrinkles develop to begin with is mostly damaged collagen caused by ultraviolet radiation over the course of a lifetime. If you are going to invest money in Botox, you should probably find another way to enhance your skin tone, preferably one that does not add to the effects of the aging process.
