Dermabrasion Patient 4

This 71-year-old female patient presented with sebaceous hyperplasia. She had tried multiple procedures such as; laser treatments, C02 treatments, and chemical peels. She was not seeing the results she was hoping for. She was referred to Dr. Shaun Parson to discuss a possible facelift or dermabrasion. She was unsure of what procedure would be best to get the desired look she was hoping for. After a detailed consultation, Dr. Parson felt she would be a great candidate for dermabrasion to the face.

Dermabrasion is an outpatient procedure that surgically scrapes the skin to lessen the appearance of wrinkles and pigmentation. After the procedure, the skin that usually regenerates is smoother and younger looking. The patient is thrilled with her results and she is shown here only 2 months post-op.
