11 May Rhinoplasty Cosmetic Surgery
When Rhinoplasty is Right for You
When a potential patient comes into our Scottsdale office to discuss rhinoplasty surgery, they rarely have a complete understanding of their nasal issues. Symptoms such as trouble breathing through the nasal passages, for example, could be caused by a multitude of factors. The patient may be dealing with a nasal valve collapse, a narrowing of the internal or external nasal valves.
During corrective rhinoplasty, your plastic surgeon will make incisions as needed to allow access to the internal nasal structure. They will surgically adjust the areas needed in order to correct the internal or external nasal valve collapse. Afterwards, medical stitches are applied to close the incision, thus completing the surgery.
